Washington DC is the nation's capital and home of the Metro subway system as well as a growing streetcar and light rail network. Its bikesharing system, Capital Bikeshare, is managed by Portland-affiliated Alta Bicycle Share.
It's one of the few cities that beats Portland on transit use per capita.
