Riders board the 20 in downtown Portland.

TriMet's 20-Burnside/Stark bus connects Beaverton, SW Portland, Portland City Center, SE Portland and Gresham, via Cedar Hills Boulevard, Barnes, Burnside, 102nd, Stark and Kane.

According to Portland Afoot's 2011 TriMet bus rankings, the line was TriMet's fourth least reliable, with 22 percent of buses arriving off schedule. The 20 was also the fifth most crowded and the fifth least honest, with 2.9 fare evasions per 1,000 boardings.

The 20 was one of five bus routes targeted by OPAL, an environmental justice group that began organizing bus riders in 2009 and 2010.
