Statement of interest in joining TriMet board
On his interest appointments form in January 2012, Stovall wrote:
"Tri-met and its system is a world-class network of mobility solutions. Our ability to transit the region on various modes of effective mass transit options is a key to our sustained responsible economic growth and development. Keen oversight of this system is what will encourage our leaders and constituents throughout the region to continue the support of its maintenance and build out to continue its place as a innovative and effective system. I feel that I am well equipped to provide a balanced approach to decision making and oversight to the leadership at Tri-met and will be accountable to the public in this region to review the information presented, make balanced decisions and respond in a responsible way."
