Tom McCall Waterfront Park is a park and multi-use trail along the west side of the Willamette River. It was designed by Portland-based architects Zimmer Gunsul Frasca and created by the removal of Harbor Drive in the late 1970s, an initiative of former Gov. Tom McCall.

Its visitors can cross the river over one of the major Portland bridges to reach the Eastbank Esplanade, which completes the loop around the central city waterfront.

Kerr Bikes, just south of the Hawthorne Bridge, is a popular bicycle rental service as well as a cheap place in Portland to fix your bicycle.
