[edit] Editorial positions
The Columbian's editorial board has written in favor of the Columbia River Crossing and extension of the Yellow Line across the Columbia River to downtown Vancouver, the Uptown Village area and Clark College.
Its editorial positions might be described as those of liberal Republicanism. The page carries longstanding hostility toward organized labor, resistance to urban sprawl, and support for well-funded public services and other measures seen to benefit local businesses.
