Steve Clark

Steve Clark is a former member of the TriMet board of directors, serving from June 2010 to January 2013. He had been appointed by former Oregon Gov. Ted Kulongoski to replace former board president George Passadore, representing TriMet District 3, the metro area's inner west side.

At the time of his appointment, Clark worked and president and publisher of of Community Newspapers, Inc., which publishes the Portland Tribune, Sellwood Bee, Sandy Post and many other community newspapers in the Portland area. He later moved to a job as the Vice President for University Relations and Marketing for Oregon State University in Corvallis. According to Oregonian reporter Joseph Rose, Clark continued to live in Portland as of June 2012, commuting to Corvallis. Clark resigned from the board when he sold his local home and became ineligible to serve.

Clark was known, among other things, as a member of the TriMet board eager to meet with citizen and advocacy groups such as OPAL.
