South corridor MAX extension
From PortlandAfoot
TriMet's south corridor MAX extension is a plan by the agency to bring light rail to Clackamas County. Its first phase resulted in the Green Line; the planned Orange Line is its second phase.
The South Corridor project developed out of the failure of the South-North MAX extension plan, which went down after a series of TriMet ballot measures in the 1990s.
