From Portland Afoot

Jump to: navigation, search

The Providence Bridge Pedal is an event held in Portland each August that shuts down parts of Interstate 5 and Interstate 405, opening them to cyclists and allowing cyclists to cross all the major Portland bridges including the Fremont Bridge and Marquam Bridge.

The event is sponsored by Providence Health Centers, with some proceeds going to benefit the Bicycle Transportation Alliance.
