From Portland Afoot

Minneapolis is the largest city in a major midwest metropolis known, among other things, for its excellent bike path network, its bikesharing system and its slowly growing light rail network.

In 2010, Bicycling magazine ranked it for the first time above Portland on its list of the country's best cities for bicycling.
