Hawthorne Boulevard

From Portland Afoot

Jump to: navigation, search

Hawthorne Boulevard is a major commercial corridor in inner Southeast Portland. Sitting halfway between the similar districts on Belmont Street and Division Street, Hawthorne was once a streetcar route and is now home to TriMet's heavily used 14 bus line. Though the street does not extend into downtown Portland, where it essentially becomes Jefferson Street, it gives its name to the Hawthorne Bridge.
