From Portland Afoot
George Crandall is a Portland-based architect and principal at Crandall Arambula. He was project manager for the proposed Mount Hood Freeway in the 1970s and an opponent of the Columbia River Crossing in the 00s and 10s. In November 2010 he presented a set of alternatives to the CRC bridge replacement plan that he referred to as the "CSA" or "Common Sense Alternative."
