Division Street is a major commercial corridor through inner Southeast Portland. Like the nearby Hawthorne Boulevard and Belmont Street, the Division district grew up around a defunct streetcar line but is now served by a frequent-service bus -- in Division's case, the 4.
The 2012 boom in no-parking apartment buildings along Division Street were the subject of the October 2012 Rent Issue of Portland Afoot's 10-minute newsmagazine.
