Couplet

A couplet, in Portland transportation jargon, is a pair of adjacent streets that direct traffic in opposite directions. Examples include Grand Boulevard and Martin Luther King Boulevard, Burnside Street and Couch Street, or the transit mall along 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue.
