Car-free life's many advantages include saving money, living longer, losing weight, reducing stress, reading more, listening to more music, working more efficiently, forcing yourself to plan ahead, lowering your overhead, reducing risk, saving your planet, meeting new and interesting people more often and building a closer connection to your body, your surroundings and the people around you.

Its many annoyances include getting sweaty, getting cold, getting wet, being late, being bored, hauling groceries, wasting time, getting tired, meeting unpleasant people more often and struggling to see people who live very far away from you.

Portland Afoot is here to help you enjoy those advantages and deal with those annoyances.
