Beaverton
From PortlandAfoot
Beaverton is the third-largest suburb of Portland by population, after Vancouver and Hillsboro, and the second-largest city in Washington County. As an "inner-ring" suburb, it is densely populated and relatively well-served by TriMet, including the Red Line, Blue Line, WES commuter rail line and several frequent service bus routes.
Beaverton's location just west of the Tualatin Mountains, however, makes in an awkward destination for bicyclists, especially those going back and forth to Portland.
