Barbara Roberts
From Portland Afoot
Barbara Roberts was the governor of Oregon from 1991 to 1995. A Democrat, she was the first woman to serve in the position.
She was preceded by Neil Goldschmidt and succeeded by John Kitzhaber.
In office, Patricia McCaig served as one of Roberts' top advisors. Bob Stacey was also among her aides.
