Portland Afoot's 2011 TriMet bus rankings were released in with its 10-minute monthly magazine for June 2011, the "Freedom Issue." They were based on public records provided by TriMet in May 2011.

  1. 57-TV Hwy/Forest Grove - 89 percent of buses arrive unbunched
  2. 75-Lombard/39th - 87 percent
  3. 33-McLoughlin - 82 percent
  4. 12-Barbur/Sandy Blvd - 78 percent
  5. 15-Belmont/NW 23rd - 74 percent

  1. 35-Macadam/Greeley - 101 percent of seating capacity, during the outbound morning peak
  2. 94-Sherwood/Pacific Hwy Express - 96 percent, outbound night
  3. 14-Hawthorne - 94 percent, inbound morning peak
  4. 4-Division/Fessenden - 94 percent, outbound morning peak
  5. 20-Burnside/Stark - 94 percent, inbound afternoon peak

  1. 84-Kelso/Boring - 11.7 percent of seating capacity, during the outbound night peak
  2. 53-Arctic/Allen - 20 percent, inbound morning peak
  3. 59-Walker/Park Way - 15 percent, inbound morning peak
  4. 18-Hillside - 17 percent, outbound afternoon peak
  5. 154-Willamette - 13 percent, outbound afternoon peak

[edit] TriMet's most honest bus lines

Of TriMet's 79 bus lines, 28 -- more than a third -- didn't report a single case of fare evasion for the week we reviewed, Feb. 12-18, 2011. (Oddly, TriMet said it can't track evasion over anything longer than one week.) Of the 28 perfect lines, the most ridden was the 67-Jenkins/158th.

  2. 70-12th Ave - 3.7 per 1,000
  3. 80-Kane/Troutdale Rd - 3 per 1,000

  5. 20-Burnside/Stark - 2.9 per 1,000
