A 20-minute neighborhood, in urban planning, is an area that includes most necessary amenities within easy walking range of about 20 minutes. Increasing the number of these in Portland is a major goal of the Portland Plan.
Most good places to live in Portland without a car are already 20-minute neighborhoods.
