Wanted: A quick photo of your groovy low-car lifestyle
Folks, we’ve got a favor to ask.
For a part-time local operation, Portland Afoot has quite a lot of readers – our monthly 10-minute newsmagazine recently picked up its 1300th subscriber, and our website serves at least 6,000 folks a month. But because we’re distributed in the most private of ways – direct mail, social media and email – nobody’s ever seen you.
As part of a top-secret project that’ll be kicked off at our second birthday party (it’s Thursday evening, July 26, and you’re invited – stay tuned), Portland Afoot’s outreach team – that’d be me, Josh, Lana and Wes – is looking to change that. We need you to snap us a great photo of you living your awesome low-car life.
Anything’ll do: kayak, skateboard, pony ride, dogsled.
Your face is really important to include. If you could include a copy of a Portland Afoot product (paper, mobile, web, whatever), so much the better. And this is cool: we’ll draw a random self-portraitist to receive a $20 gift card at Backspace (which you can use at our party, of course).
